Provenance: Auction Dorotheum, Vienna, 16.03.1976, lot 124; Private German Collection. The Moravian landscape painter Franz Richter practised as a surgeon in Olomouc from 1802 to 1809. In 1829 he published a portfolio with 16 lithographs of views of Brno’s most important buildings.
