We are grateful to Professor Filippo Todini for suggesting the attribution on the basis of a digital photograph.
Todini identified the painter as a follower of Antonio del Massaro da Viterbo, called il Pastura, who was active in Latium between 1478–1516 (see F. Todini, La pittura umbra dal Duecento al primo Cinquecento, Milan, 1989, Vol. I, p. 149).
