The attribution to Jacob Grimmer was confirmed by Dr. Teréz Gerszi in a written notice (15. Februar 2017) on the basis of a digital photograph. A comparable landscape drawing by Grimmer (c. 1575-1580) is kept in the British Museum (1861, 0810.43).
