Private collection, Austria; Dorotheum, Wien, 8th November 2012, lot 207; Private collection, Austria.
Thomas Ender accompanied Archduke Johann to Crimea in 1837 and kept record of the single sojourns. The present sheet may have been executed on the return journey of Thomas Ender in autumn 1837. The return journey led him from the Black Sea along the Greek islands and the Greek coast via Corfu to Triest.
