so-called Baroque Tabernacle, Austria 18th century, type ‘à trois corps’, walnut veneered softwood frame with curved and angled front, marquetried with additional partly ebonised precious woods in panels and bands, chest with 3 drawers, writing compartment with hinged surface and 2 external drawers, cabinet with volute ends of a later date, several drawers and a concave niche door, flanked by gilded Corinthian capital columns, c. 225 x 154 x 71 cm, ornamented with bronze mounts, well-kept condition.
