1964 Puch Allstate 250 SGS "USA Version" (no reserve)

1964 Puch Allstate 250 SGS "USA Version" (no reserve) - Autoveicoli d'epoca

Purchased by the consignor himself in the United States!

From 1951 to 1979, the Sears company from Chicago sold vehicles of the brands Puch, Gilera and Vespa in the United States and Canada. The Puch 250 SGS was sold as type 810.94222 (see sticker on the steering head) under the name Allstate Puch 250. An "Allstate" lid was added to the tank-side cover and gearbox cover and the speedometer was replacement with one that used miles.

In 2002, during a two-year work stay in Arizona, the consignor bought a well-maintained (and most importantly, rust-free) 250 SGS from the original owner with the original motor and a certified mileage of approx. 25,000 miles. He then had it transported to Vienna, declared and restored. The motorcycle was disassembled and repainted. The company RST in Vienna overhauled the wheels and brakes. All the mechanics were checked out; where necessary they were repaired and serviced. The chrome-plated parts were reconditioned, rechromed or replaced. The US-specific "Allstate" lid is included. The speedometer was replaced by a km/h instrument. All in all, this is a completely gorgeous SGS with a very unique history!
