1992 Ferrari Testarossa
The third-but-last Testarossa built, the last one in red/black!

Ferrari started production of the Testarossa in 1984. For this new top-of-the-line model, Pininfarina had decided on a completely novel design strategy. In the Testarossa the water cooler units were mounted on both sides of the car in front of the rear wheels, a fact Pininfarina emphasised by using visible cooling ribs extending to the rear panelling. Its, at the time, extremely futuristic design soon turned the Testarossa into an icon of pure style, as well as making it an unattainable dream!
The present Ferrari Testarossa was the third-but-last of its kind to leave the assembly plant at Maranello in 1992, as well as the very last made in the popular colour combination of classic red with black leather interior! During the first half year, this Testarossa was registered to the Denzel branch in Graz. One should perhaps point out that for more than half of its life so far, this epitome of a man’s car, was in the hands of a lady. Which may be the reason why the top athlete does not show the effects of its 23 years. The consigner had finally found what he had been looking for in 2011, regularly enjoying the company of his Testarossa in Summer, even driving it back to Italy during holidays. He never failed to give him the care and attention he needed in the form of regular maintenance. The Testarossa appears at the auction fresh from a recent cambelt service, all the new owner will have to do is get in the car and make the most of this icon!
