Provenance: Private collection, Germany.
Excellent, contemporary impression of state IV (of IV), with the reworkings in the cheek, nose and the cap band. From the series of those sheets which are known only in later states and from the hands of pupils. With a repaired tiny tear at left upper margin ouside of the platemarks, otherwise in good condition. Very rare.
