From the collection of J. A. Börner (1785-1862), Nuremberg. an old inscription: "bekannter Kunsthändler, ausgezeichneter Sammler und Kenner. Sammlung wurde 1863 und 1867 bei Weigel in Leipzig versteigert."(well-known artdealer. Excellent collector and conoisseur. The collection was sold at auctions at Weigel’s auction house in 1863 and 1867 on the reverse).
