A view over the lively square of S. Zeno in Oratorio in Verona. On the right side one can see the yet unspoilt apse of the church, the towers and walls of Castelvecchio raise straight ahead and on the left the arches of the bridge Ponte Scagliero span across Etsch river. The present drawing is a wonderful snapshot of the early 19th century, which can be re-witnessed in a similar way today. It is also exciting to watch todays only minor alterations compared to the situation in the 19th century.
