The sports car of tractors!

Porsche launched the Super N 308 as a sophisticated vehicle for medium-sized to large farms in 1957. Replacing the P133, the optimised engine delivered significantly more power with the same displacement and fuel consumption. Of course it retained the typical Porsche look: red paint and a sleek, inclined engine hood. And because Super always means very zippy at Porsche, Steyr & Co usually only see it from behind, dreaming of a top speed north of the 30 km/h mark.

This Porsche was recently overhauled from top to bottom. Entirely in keeping with the current quality standards and the tractors community, the only accepted objective must be ‘at least as good as new’. The restorer of this vehicle was also aware of this requirement, and acted accordingly. The outcome: more beautiful than new. So you will find high gloss paint on a dent-free bonnet and ignition like in a new tractor. Until now, the 308 Super has mainly served as eye candy, as not even the pedals show any wear on their paint job. This tractor offers a truly gripping Porsche feeling, and with its untold possible uses presents an interesting addition to a fleet of 356 or 911 models, and must therefore be included in any serious collection! This fantastic toy was brought in for auction with a recent Austrian certificate of conformity.
