The present sheet may relate to views of the Danube from Engelhartszell to Vienna which were models for a series of lithographs titled "Malerische Donaureise von Engelhartszell bis Wien”. 55 sheets are kept in the National Library in Vienna. The works are not only of a high artistic quality but also provide an important source for the historical and geographical research of the cultural and natural space along Danube river.
