Louis XV period, mid-18th century, stamp of cabinet-maker J. Popsel (Jean Popsel, master as of 1755) and JME, oak structure with serpentine shaping on three sides, veneered with amaranth and rosewood, field-shaped floral marquetry with various partially dyed precious woods, with matte finish, gilt bronze decorative fittings, three drawers, moulded marble top supplemented at a later date, 86 x 114 x 57 cm, signs of age and use, minor veneer damage.
