A French Games Table,
Louis XVI style, end of the 19th century, fine quality mahogany wood frame, partly mahogany veneer, marquetry panels and rhombs, with polished finish, pivoting top (so-called ‘Kuvertplatte’) with lifting mechanism for one part of the top, replaced felt covering inside, delicately chased gilt bronze fittings, 74 x 50 x 50 cm, in beautiful professionally restored condition. Both its design and fine bronzes are reminiscent of works by François Linke. (MIN)
