Rudolf Teodorovich Wilde or Rudolph Fedorovich Wilde von Wildemann, born in the Courland province 29.10. or 10.11.1868, died in Leningrad in 30.4.1938, decorative and applied arts, painter, graphic artist, studied in the drawing workshop of the Prokhorov Manufactory in Moscow. In 1894-1899 he studied at the Central School of Technical Drawing of Baron A. L. Stieglitz in St. Petersburg and became a “scientific draughtsman”. In 1905, he worked as a draughtsman and designer at the Imperial Porcelain Factory, from 1906-1935 he was in charge of the painting and grinding workshop of the porcelain and glass factory. In 1912 he was a member of the jury of the “Carl Faberge” competition.
