Private collection, Italy.
The attribution to Pier Francesco Mola was confirmed by Prof. Francesco Petrucci after having examined the original drawing. According to him the drawing may have served as a preliminary study for an unknown painting or fresco and may date to the artist’s mature phase in his work between 1655–1660.
