The authenticity has been confirmed by The Estate of Sigmar Polke, Cologne. The works will be included in the upcoming Catalogue Raisonné ed. by the Estate of Sigmar Polke. They are registered with the archive numbers 12/01047–12/01059

With narrative lightness Sigmar Polke depicts the viewer in various positions in his drawings: turning to the picture, pointing to the picture, holding the work thoughtfully in his hand, bringing it closer to the eye, holding it with an outstretched arm or up against the light, contemplating it in a group, or alone and brooding – humorously, these little drawings show where a picture may lead its sympathetic and curious viewers.
