Matching numbers, 113,960 original km since new!
Consigner-owned since 1975!
Jaguar presented the E-Type in the fall of 1961. Britain's new superstar had gorgeous curves, high-quality technology and stunning performance. This sports car has been fascinating for over 55 years – to look at and to drive!
According the Jaguar Heritage Archive, this E-Type in opalescent silver blue was delivered to the company Fendler & Lüdemann in Hamburg on September 8, 1964. It was registered there on November 6, 1964. The Jag went to the second owner in Günzburg in Bavaria in July of 1969. According to the paperwork, there were three further owners in Augsburg, where the consignor acquired the vehicle in January 18, 1975 with about 88,000 km on the clock. The purchase contract explicitly shows that the motor had newly been restored about 5,000 km earlier. The E-Type has been registered to the consigner since 15/06/1975! Invoices and all TÜV are available since that time. The Jag was restored in 1987. The body was repaired and painted in Morgan green, and the interior was largely renewed. A logbook has been kept since 1981 at 108,000 km. It tells of trips and maintenance work, reflecting the life of a car. After a good 40 years, this dream sports car is being sold. Because the consigner had other classic cars and only drove during nice weather, the car has only seen 26,000 km in all those years – and only by the consignor. This "E" is a really honest car with a great resume that puts it far above the rest.
