Designed in 1924, executed by the Wiener Werkstätte, hammered silver, the foot hallmarked with monogram JH, three-line Wiener Werkstätte logotype, hoopoe mark, 900 and Made in Austria within a rectangle, sconces hallmarked with toucan’s head and monogram WW, height 20.5 cm, (B).
Lit.: The preparatory sketch for the girandole is located in the WW Archive at the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts (ÖMAK), Vienna with inventory no. KI 12124/17, work no. S de 39.
