Sir Noël Peirce Coward (Teddingham, Middlesex, England 1899 - 1973 Kingston, Jamaica) was a British playwright, composer, director, actor and singer. He was best known for his wit and flamboyance, combining likable sophistication and a sharp sense of humor. He authored some of the most famous plays of his epoch and was much appreciated for his entertaining temperament and witty storytelling.
