yellow lacquered iron tubes, striped sailcloth, height 84 cm, width 49 cm, depth 62 cm, height of seat 46 cm. (DRAX)
Original condition.
This model is identical to Bruno Pollak’s “RP6” stacking chair from 1931/32 for Pel Ltd., England, except for the form of the back legs, which are curved in the present case and rectangular in Pollak’s “RP6”. The “RP6” serial model by Pollak was nickel or chromium plated. A version featuring a slatted wooden seat was used for the garden restaurant at the Werkbund exhibition in Vienna in 1930.
