“I don’t think that Paolo Scheggi can be identified exclusively with holes. This may sound somewhat blunt. Almost like a conversation in the street. But - honestly - this is what I think of Scheggi’s oeuvre [...]. They are not closed works. They are always complex, open, as if interrupted. And yet, despite this interruption, the problem is set out. They are never presumptuous works. There is no solution in Paolo Scheggi’s works [...]. He is no concrete artist [...]. I regard Scheggi as a conceptual artist. I regard the research he conducted as purely conceptual”
