A rare early model with the logotype impressed to the interior. “Otto” was the first furniture programme worldwide made of corrugated cardboard. It was meant for young people during the great awakening of the 1960s – an ecologically recyclable product, scratch-proof, wipe able, lightweight, and highly wear-resistant. Raacke himself described his “Otto” as a “seat for have-nots”.
This piece was exhibited in: Sixties Design, Möbel Museum, Vienna 2012.
