Cartouche, - Property from Aristocratic Estates and Important Provenance

Horse troops of the k. u. k. Army (cavalry, artillery, Train) or rather the k. k. Landwehr cavalry, however of extraordinary appearance (dimensions slightly bigger than the usual Cartouche, the slightly curved lid with removable gilded double-headed eagle and the gilded rod-shaped bindings - not as according to regulations silver or silver-plated but gilded, likewise the adorned laterals with war trophies!) Otherwise as usual with red morocco leather covered cartouche armoire and the upholstered inside of the lid. One of the two red morocco leather loops is missing at the back of the armoire, as is the leather slip-knot with thorn buckle to fasten the missing cartouche strap. On the floor of the armoire metal locks. The leather connecting the cover with the armoire is almost completely torn so that the lid is only connected to the armoire at a 3 cm long area, (Ma)
