Provenance:
Galerie Günther Franke/ Munich, there acquired by the current owner in 1970, Private Collection Italy
The signature and title were probably retraced by Erich Heckel with a soft pencil at a later date. Residues of the older signature are discernible under the later one. The older title above the more recent one is hardly legible. We are grateful to Hans Geissler and Renate Ebner M. A. (Estate of Erich Heckel/Hemmenhofen) for the information.
