Provenance: Galerie Guglielmini, Milan. Riccardo Pellegrini: A figure and landscape painter, as well as an illustrator, who lived in Milan. Pellegrini studied in several Italian cities, including Naples with Morelli. He perfected his abilities on several sojourns spent studying abroad, especially in Spain, the source of inspiration for his colourful paintings of Iberian folk costumes. Today his works can be found in museums in Novara, Berlin and Stuttgart.
