The Franco-Austrian design duo works on the threshold between art, design, and architecture. Their approach is based on a critical analysis of architecture and the symbolism of everyday objects. Célia-Hannes consider both urban and rural spaces as huge, publicly accessible databases from which they draw new ideas for their clear and reduced designs. They are the founders of the publishing platform ‘Revue DAS’, whose focus is on the genesis of ideas in the fields of architecture and design. Célia Picard and Hannes Schreckensberger live and work in Austria and France.
