A similar composition by Ciro Ferri on canvas (47 x 33 cm), previously attributed to Pietro da Cortona, is conserved in the Hunterian Museum of the University of Glasgow (inv. no. GLAHA 43530).
A drawing by Ciro Ferri with the same subject is in the Albertina, Vienna, inv. no. 883 (see W. Davis, The Drawings of Ciro Ferri, New York/London 1986, p. 304).
