46 photographs of the Imperial and Royal Navy, seaports, historical monuments etc., 1855, salt paper, photographer: Franz Mai, between 14 x 23.3 and 20.5 x 30.3 cm, mounted on original cardboard, there mostly with title in gold letters, in original portfolio of red Morocco leather with gold embossing, brass decor (the buckle is missing). The photos are for the most part in a good state of preservation, a few cardboards with some foxing.
