(Paris 1670–1747 Saint-Germain-en-Laye)
Flowers in a glass vase,
oil on canvas, 67 x 59 cm, framed

The attribution has been suggested by Fred Meijer on the basis of a photograph. He has pointed out that the bouquet of flowers and the cool colour scheme are characteristic of the artist. Antoine Monnoyer was the son of Jean Baptiste Monnoyer and was one of the most successful still life painters in France during the eighteenth century.
