Inscribed under the base “ADOLFO WILDT / DALL’ANNO MCMVI AL MCMVIII” Bronze, 37.5 x 32 x 20 cm
This bronze cast was realized by Francesco Wildt in c. 1935 from the original marble example realized by Adolfo Wildt in 1909
This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Paola Mola, Milan.

There are two other known castings of the Autoritratto made by Francesco: one made for his father’s funeral monument at Cimitero Monumentale, Milan (recently replaced by a copy) and the other one on the commemorative plaque at the Accademia di Brera, Milan
