allocated to municipal collections 1941;
Inventory of the object under Inv. No. 70.717;
recommendation for restitution to the legal successors of Albert Pollak 21.12.2020.
The woman is presumably Thérèse Apponyi (1790–1874). She impressed diplomats at the Vienna Congress;
her nickname was „la divine Therese“. Chopin dedicated a piece of music to her.
