in 2020, various materials, including wood, modified construction of originally two stools, destroyed in a performance process and re-assembled with foam into a rocking chair. “Double Chair” could be turned upside down and maintains its function. Signed, titled and dated. Height c. 80 cm, width c. 52 cm, depth c. 50 cm, height of seat c. 45 cm. (MHA)

Part of the Riot Design series, representing a link between design, conceptual art, performance and sculpture. In this series, the artist deals with destruction and reconstruction of a piece of furniture, recontextualising the function and aesthetics of the original object. Pablo Chiereghin was born in Italy in 1977. He lives and works in Vienna.
