Johann Rumpf addresses several aspects of the pandemic in this model: how long will the pandemic last, when will it end? Red is the colour of love, but also of suffering.
Johann Rumpf was born in Vienna on 7 April 1950. 1970 – 1974: worked for the enamel jewellery company Michaela Frey in Vienna; 1973 - 1974: children’ art supervisor at the “Wiener Ferienspiel” and organiser of painting courses in Vienna; 1976: licence for artistic screen printing; 1976: member of the Professional Association of Austrian Fine Artists; foundation of the artisan company Johann Rumpf with a focus on glass painting; 1977 - 1992: Various exhibitions in Austria and abroad (Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Frankfurt, New York, etc.); 1992 - 1993: Construction of the Kunsthaus Rumpf; 1994 - 2020: various exhibitions and art auctions; Johann Rumpf lives and works in Vienna.
