2006, modular construction made of cylindrical cullet elements. The set includes different sizes, which can be connected with a strong, load-bearing steel cable through the centre of the Murano glass cylinders and secured in any modular way and length. Each glass cylinder has its own mechanism allowing height and distance adjustment to other adjacent glass elements. Each glass cylinder is equipped with a high-quality automatic cable clamp with safety device. This dynamic locking system is the ideal solution to change the position of the glass tubes with great simplicity and speed. It also allows the user to change the length of the steel cables attached to the ceiling. This chandelier is the ideal solution for high stairs, and can also be used in any other project. The set comprises: 50 large Murano glass tubes, height c. 50 cm each, diameter c. 9 cm each; 250 medium-sized Murano glass tubes, height c. 25 cm each, diameter c. 6 cm each; 250 small Murano glass tubes, height c. 18 cm each, diameter c. 4 cm each. Slight signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions, disassembled, without guarantee for electrical fitting and completeness. (MHA)
This chandelier was designed in 2006 for the Baglioni Spa Hotel in Budapest. Building works for this famous 5-star hotel commenced in October 2006 and were completed 5 years later, in September 2011.
The hotel and the banquet hall was attached to the ‚Racz Baths‘, which date back to the 16th century and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
