Signed and numbered. Dimensions of each element: height c. 60 cm, width c. 60 cm, depth c. 26 cm. Slight signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions. (MHA)

From limited editions of 50 examples each. Massimo Giacon was born in Padua in 1961. He has worked in Milan as a comic author, illustrator, designer, artist and musician since 1980. In 1985, he began working with the architectural firm Sottsass Associati, subsequently continuing his work in design with Matteo Thun, Studio Mendini, Sieger Design and collaborated with Olivetti, Memphis, Artemide, Alessi, Swatch, Philips, Ritzenhoff, Telecom. He began his artistic career in 1990, which led to several solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, the USA, Greece and Portugal. In 1994, he began working on the graphic design of websites and CD-ROMs. He has also designed tapestries, carpets, pottery and kitchen utensils, drawn advertising illustrations, collaborated with fashion designers and magazines (Romeo Gigli, Elle, Glamour), planned installations for international exhibitions and created animations for television. In addition to teaching at the European Institute of Design in Milan, he is currently developing the production of several objects for Alessi, planning video games, drawing comics for «Blue» and Coconino Press and continuing his artistic and performing activities.
