1975 BMW 3.0 CSi

1975 BMW 3.0 CSi - Autoveicoli d'epoca

In August 1973, Mercedes-Benz made inroads into the prestige class with their new top model, the 3.0 CSi. Only 8,144 units of the CSi were made. The car boasted impressive performance numbers and had nothing to fear from the competition. The CSi had four disc brakes to tame the increased performance; the 3.0 CSi hit 220 km/h with ease. The noble and elegant interior and the luxurious equipment options remained. The performance and ambiance were precisely what one expected from a Gran Turismo.

This BMW 3.0 CSi was first registered in Bludenz on October 17, 1975. The fjord blue coupé now sits on contemporary wheels; the original rims are included in the offer. Engine number and chassis number match with the entries in the registration certificate. The consignor bought the BMW about 15 years ago, treating it immediately to a new paint job in the original colours. Today, the paint shows only minor signs of ageing. The typical weak points of the E9 appear robust here. The wheel arches are thankfully free of the concealing chrome strips; the standard chrome decoration is lavish enough and shines. Once you take a seat in this recently reupholstered leather seating, surrounded by the precious wood inlays, you will be reluctant to get out. This timelessly beautiful coupé in the sought-after colour fascinates with its perfect combination of comfort and sporty driving characteristics.
