2006 Vespa PX 200 E (ohne Limit / without reserve)
In 1977 Piaggio presented its “nuova linea“ in Milan. They had updated the Vespa, its exterior design as well as the mechanics. The design had more edges, was more modern and the scooter grew in size. They had developed new suspension systems for the front and rear, which made the Vespa handle much better. The PX was continuously improved over its long production run and became an instant favorite that was built well into the new millennium. And yet, it had already been taken out of the program in its homeland in the 1980s. It was the great demand that brought The PX back and while European production had finally ceased more than ten years ago, brand-new PX models are coming over from India, where production had continued for a few years.
This PX 200 E most likely is one of the last European production models ever built. It only had a single-day-registration in Germany in 2006 before it came to Austria a year later, without ever having been registered here. The PX‘ odometer shows that it has not even run ten kilometers to this day, and this is also what it looks like. Almost new.
