1977 Vespa 125 TS (ohne Limit / without reserve)
In 1975 Piaggio brought the Vespa 125 Turismo Speciale to the market. The TS succeeded the GTR, which remained in production for a short while. It was the last Largeframe 125 cc Vespa ever, made until finally the PX series arrived. Its frame was basically the same as on the Rally model. The engine received a plus in compression, which made the output rise to 6,7 HP and the top speed to above 90 km/h.
The Vespa 125 TS was built for a little more than three years. Total production was 28,745 units, which makes it one of the rarer Largeframe Vespas. For that reason, but even more because it was more or less a 125 Rally, the Turismo Speciale is highly appreciated among Vespa enthusiast.
This Vespa 125 Turismo Speciale originally came from Italy. One can see at first sight that whoever restored it, knew what he or she was doing. The quality of the work is stunning and speaks for itself. Since then the 125 TS has been part of a collection and has been very well cared for. Almost ten years have gone by since it was finished, but it still looks almost like new.
