Gode Krämer, Augsburg, in a letter to Reinhold Hofstätter of 1981, dated this painting to ca. 1760. He cited picture with similar subject matter in the Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and in the Historical Museum, Frankfurt/Main. Stylistically comparable paintings by Juncker can be found in the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum, Cologne, and in the Kiel Kunsthalle.
