Viennese Collection–directly from the artist
The head originated from a plaster model, and based on this a black and a white head were created out of marble in Carrara. Both were carved into elements, as a result of which two heads arose in varying black/white configurations. Each head is unique.
... I am no longer Adam alone– we are all Adam. If Adam nevertheless has my facial features, it is only because this Rudolf Hausner is the only exemplar of the species whom I am in a position to observe day and night. Whatever happens to him and whenever it happens, I am there....
