The present drawing was presumably drawn by an artist from the circle of Hendrik Goltzius. It is stylistically, technically and in details of the costume comparable to several portraits by Golztius between 1592-1595 in the Albertina, Vienna, Inv. Nr. 17638, 8070, 8071).
