Bogdanov exhibited regularly in travelling exhibitions from 1880 onwards. One of his paintings in the 20th travelling exhibition (1892) was purchased by the heir to the throne.
The artist spent the period between 1882 – 85 in France and Italy. One of Bogdanov’s specialties was small format paintings on wooden board.
