According to the wish of Emperor Francis II his eldest son crown prince Archduke Ferdinand was crowned Hungarian king in Pressburg (Bratislava) on September 28, 1830. The sheet shows Barmherzigenplatz in Pressburg with cavalry regiments, batallions of grenadiers, flags and standard bearers, the king and his court on horseback and spectators.
