Great appearance, fantastic condition!

In October 1971, the SLC was presented as the successor to the S-Class Coupé W111. The SL-based coupé offered some hard advantages over the convertible, but had stood for a long time in the shadow of its predecessors including the SL. Only recently have these vehicles been granted their rightful status. For the first time at Mercedes, a coupé was based on the sporty SL and it still has no successor to date.

This particular vehicle was first rolled out and registered in Germany. In addition to its automatic gearbox, this Coupé with its icon gold-metallic features a large electrically-powered sliding roof. Rounded light-alloy wheels as well as a contemporary radio completed the fittings. Early in its life the SLC was brought to Spain where it spent most of its life. According to the current owner it had only one keeper. The mild climate was clearly kind to its delicate bodywork. The paintwork was renewed in the meantime, as were the seat covers in synthetic leather. The underfloor is also worth a look, since it has been dry ice blasted and wax-conserved. The all-round positive impression is rounded off by a recently carried out extensive inspection, which at a cost of around 2,300 euros concerned the mechanics. The SLC in its bodywork is matched in appeal by the interior, and the low mileage also provides an occasion to build confidence!
