1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa

1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa - Classic Cars

Sensational colour combination!
Matching Numbers!

In 1978 Porsche revised its 911 palette and in addition to the turbo also added the SC, or Super Carrera. The first edition from 1978 with its 180 HP 3 litre engine was followed in 1980 by a more powerful variant with 188 HP. One year later, the 911 SC could offer 204 HP despite having the same sized engine. The 911s produced between 1978 and 1983 are regarded as extremely well matured. The 3 litre injection engines are both long-lasting and reliable. When coming with a galvanised body, the SC seems to make a more than reasonable impression.

This 911 SC Targa was built in a 1982 vintage and rolled out in Germany. An Italian registration document shows that the 911 was registered by a holder in the province of Verona from 1989 until the end of 2006. At the age of 70, he then decided to sell this Porsche. This is how it finally ended up in Austria. The first official document from 2007 is the NOVA receipt, which was followed by an invoice for retrofitting a catalytic converter. The Austrian owner also remained faithful to the car for 10 years. This SC would appear to be a very pleasing partner indeed. Annual vehicle inspection reports, starting in 2008 up to the current one from 2017, confirm that the SC was always fit for the road, even though the distances travelled decreased over the years. A very harmonious 911 in a pleasing, but not an everyday colour with its very individualised but still contemporary Pascha seat covers.
