Antonio Montemezzo undertook his artistic training at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice. At first he worked in Italy before moving to Vienna where, after his first successes, he finally made his home in Munich. The main focus of his works lies in the depiction of farming landscapes which Montemezzo represented with great virtuosity.
