The Croation painter and graphic artist Menci Clement Crncic first studied for two years at the academy in Vienna before spending two further years at the academy in Munich. After returning to Vienna he won the Gundel prize and Füger medal with his graphic works. Crncic was also a professor at the art school in Agram.
