Carlo Costantino Tagliabue Landscape and maritime painter. He studied at design schools in Milan and was a decorator in tempera and frescos. An autodidact, Tagliabue taught himself by using role models drawn from the ancient world. From 1903 onwards he dedicated himself almost entirely to the painting of landscapes and maritime scenes, although he did also work with religious themes.
