We are grateful to Fabio Massaccesi for his assistance with the cataloguing of this painting, in which he sees the influence of the Vasari School. A certificate is available from Giovanni Mariacher, who considers it to be a work by Innocenzo Francucci, called Innocenzo da Imola.
